Family  Tradition

Beckers Bakery and Deli is a family-owned bakery in downtown Manhattan Beach.

Established in 1942 by Harry Becker, we continue to bake our signature cakes, cookies, cupcakes and sandwiches in our original Manhattan Beach location. Harry's son Stan took over in 1958 specializing in Squaw bread. In 1984, Stan's son Todd took over and added a deli.

Sure enough, in 2013 Todd's daughter Kit joined in and is trying to get Todd to retire...good luck Kit! Over the years, besides the Becker family running the shop, one thing has remained a constant...

our world famous country buttercream. Same recipe, handed down through the family,

through the years...and for those interested...we aren't leaving anytime soon.
